About Us:

In late 2004 Lactalis USA along with Lactalis American Group Inc.- the leading European dairy company and one of the largest cheese producers in the world today made it's first acquisition of rondele'. Lactalis had been manufacturing rondele' brand products in Europe since the mid-80's. The acquisition of rondele' has enabled Lactalis USA to enter the growing gourmet spreadable cheese market.

rondelé has its roots in Wisconsin's early small cheese factories, when three cheese factories founded in the early 1900s decided to combine and modernize to compete with larger cheese producers. They joined together as Wisconsin River Valley Cheese, Inc. The company became InoFood in 1974 and began producing the rondelé brand of semi-soft spiced cheese.

Today the company, now Lactalis USA, uses locally produced fresh cream and blends it with the delicate taste of refined vegetables and spices.
